Get the Right Traffic to your Website

Our SEO Advantage

The marketing industry is fraught with predatory companies that capitalize on business owners who aren’t quite sure what they’re getting when it comes to SEO. How are we different? We focus on educating all of our clients on the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to SEO.

There is no magic, just good, honest, hard work – and when it’s all broken down, it makes sense. But, at the end of the day, it’s still work – and no one can ever guarantee you page one results. If you find someone who is throwing this down your throat; they’re lying. They just want your money. It’s easy to sell, not easy to produce.

So, what do we guarantee for our clients? Good, honest, high-quality work and professional consultation advice with over a decade of experience.

Our Detailed Approach for SEO

Whether you’re a local, small business or a medium-sized business with multiple brick-and-mortar locations, our list of SEO services can help you get the traffic you deserve and build your website’s authority for the years to come.

Niche & Demographic Analysis

The very first step any search campaign needs, is a firm understanding of your business’ niche and demographic; your target audience, their needs, and what we can do to answer their questions and provide your service to them. Without quantifying your target audience, we’re shooting in the dark – which will lead to a poor campaign, wasted money, high bounce rates, and intense frustration.

During our initial consultation, we discuss your niche and demographic – and build a profile of your target audience in order to place our campaign on the right path for your future success. Everything else that comes with a professional search campaign comes after our niche and demographic analysis.

  • Research to learn and understand your target audience.
  • Review statistics such as age, ethnicity, gender, location, and more.
  • Understand their problems, what they’re looking for, and how they’re looking for it.
  • Align our campaign’s goals to provide an invaluable resource for your target audience.
The Website Audit

The next step after we understand your target audience is to complete a full website audit. We run your website through our professional tools such as Semrush, Screaming Frog, and more, to gather information about your site’s performance. We see the good, the bad, and the ugly – and build out a strategy to address all of these issues. We offer a basic, free audit on this page that will send you a free report via e-mail. Our professional audit dives in to more detail, and picks out problems that the basic audit will not cover. Websites can be complicated, and our audit looks at everything that could have a potential negative impact on your rankings – and we squash them before we begin the next steps of your campaign.

  • Run your website through our professional tools such as Semrush and Screaming Frog to analyze your website.
  • Full detailed report on all issues that could be negatively impacting your site’s performance.
  • Create a full strategy to plan and execute fixes on your website.
  • We run automated audits every month, ensuring we stay on top of any issues that arise during the life of your campaign.
Understanding Ranking Factors

Search engines are mean, green, thinking machines and are consistently updated through the months, quarters, and years, and an important aspect to have a successful campaign is understanding the roller coaster ride that website rankings endure. Search engines analyze three important factors: Keywords, Content, and Links.

Keywords are what people type in to search for what they’re interested in, with links pointing to that content. This is a drastic simplification of the process, but one that is easy to understand without diving too deep in to the nuance of search engine algorithms. The key takeaway is to understand the importance and value of creating good, high-quality content that targets your audience keywords, and has good, quality outbound and inbound links.

The rule of thumb that we get hit over the head is: Content is King. If you put your content and audience first, with a good understanding of technical metrics, your page will beat out your competitors and you will be rewarded with all of that delicious, targeted traffic.

Competitor Research & Analysis

Knowing and understanding what your competitors are doing in the marketing space is key to beating them in search results. We analyze your top competitors, review their website rankings, keywords, and traffic sources. We combine this information in to a report, and highlight key areas where we can improve in order to place higher than them on search results. Once complete, we build this in to our strategy and execute it during the campaign, and provide up to date reports on how your website rankings compare to them.

Staying up-to-date on actions your competitor is doing will remain important, and plays a role in our month to month strategy. This ensures we do not fall behind your competition, and allows us to gain a competitive edge in providing a better source for your target audience.

  • Conduct research on competitors to analyze their website, traffic, and keyword rankings.
  • Full report and analysis of your top competitors, number of which depends on your campaign budget.
  • Stay up to date with our monthly reports which includes your competitor’s placements and movements in the SERPs.
  • List of their site keyword rankings and performance.
  • Competitors gives us insight in to what they are doing, and doing right – and also what they are doing wrong. This will enable us to be able to compete more heavily with them.
Keyword Research

We use a variety of tools to conduct our keyword research in order to gain metrics from a number of databases. With a firm understanding of your target audience, their questions, concerns, and what they’re looking for – we can cultivate a high quality list of keywords and phrases to target for all SEO efforts. Keyword research is the most important aspect to any search campaign as it lays down the foundation for everything else to come. Without proper keyword research, you’ll waste valuable time and money going after words and phrases that will do nothing for you.

  • Keyword research for hundreds to thousands of words and phrases.
  • Breakdown report on volume, difficulty, trend, cost per click, and click percentage.
  • Customized content strategy plan based on research and experience.
Content Strategy and Development

The old saying is true; Content is King. Without compelling content, no user will care about your message, product, or service, and it will get lost in all the noise of the web. Only 8% of the internet ever receives real traffic; the rest is empty, devoid of any traffic, and simply takes up excessive space. We don’t want your website to fall in the 92% of the internet.

Good content comes in many forms. We excel in writing and graphic arts. Video and audio are also incredibly lucrative ways to generate content, and using channels such as YouTube, Vimeo, and SoundCloud are effective ways to build both backlinks and content through social means.

We work closely with you on creating your content, or we can review all content provided by you (and any freelancers/employees) to ensure they meet SEO best practices, such as proper meta information (title, description), keyword density in content, outbound links, internal links, images and image alt tags.

  • Based on keyword research, come up with catching topics.
  • Create articles between 750 to 2,500 words in length.
  • Create or purchase stock photography for pages and posts.
  • Create custom graphics for pages, posts, and social share.
  • Publish content on the site, and automate publication to social media channels.
  • Goal is to create engaging content people want to read and share.
On-Page Optimization

If you’re starting with a new website or improving an existing one, on-page optimization will help with cleaning everything up for search engines to better understand your site. It is the goal of the search engine to provide the best source for their users, and our on-page optimization strategy works to clean up any pre-existing errors, as well as include all the metrics that are required for a page to perform well.

On-page optimization includes page titles, headings, quality of content, length of content, internal and external links, images, alt text, page speed, mobile device support, caching, schema, and so much more.

  • Optimize all main pages with selected keywords.
  • Optimize H1, H2, H3, meta title, description, and page copy.
  • Create internal links to improve authority flow to sub-pages.
  • Cache all static elements of the site for fast load times.
  • Optimize mobile performance.
  • Clean up all images on important pages to be small on file size, and alt tagged.
  • Schema set up for important pages to tell search engines exactly what it’s about.
Off-Page Optimization

We go in to detail about backlinks in our section below, because it is a wide topic and a few short sentences will not do it justice. In short, off-page optimization is reputation management for your website, and a way for us to build traffic by creating and promoting content across the internet. With over a decade of experience, we partner with other webmasters to create and share content through a variety of networks, all done through white-hat means. No spam directories, no black hat tactics, nothing that will negatively impact your website and get it banned from indexes.

Every website has, what we call, a rating – or, authority rating. This rating is a number from 0 to 100; websites that are brand new start at 0, and the higher the number, the more credible and resourceful the website is. For example, very few websites have a domain rating of 100 – and those that do, tend to be government websites. Even Google doesn’t have a page rating (or domain authority) of 100. Most websites sit between 20-50, while others that are more popular, are in the 60-80 range.

The higher this number, the more quality your website has to its users – and the higher your website will rank for new keywords. The reverse is also true, win which the lower your score, the longer it takes for your website to gain rankings. Our goal is to, very simply, increase your domain rating to a respectable level.

  • We have a broad network of connections to build high quality, effective backlinks.
  • We build a foundation of links to start off with a DA ranging between 20-30.
  • High DA (40-80) links are produced on a month-to-month basis, and depending on budget, can cost between $150 to $7,000 per link
  • Our High DA websites have monthly traffic that ranges from 4,000 to 160,000 visits per month of real traffic (not bots or spoofed), with high domain ratings.
  • We publish and share social signals across a multitude of networks in order to keep your link profile natural and diverse.
Backlinks
What are Backlinks?

Backlinks are, simply put, links from other websites to your’s. When you read an article on the New York Times or Huffington Post about a great new cooking recipe, and there is a link to a site about Slow Cookers, chances are that you’re reading an ad specifically built for that Slow Cooker link. Search engines see this, and when they visit the site the link points to, Google Bot thinks on it and takes it back to headquarters for assessment. If it’s good, the Slow Cooker site gets a boost in authority, and therefore, higher visibility in search results.

White Hat Backlinks

We conduct all backlinking efforts with “white hat” methods. White hat is done by manual outreach to webmasters that are within your niche, have a high domain authority and trust factor, and real traffic to their websites (not bots). We have a great network that we’ve spent the last decade building connections with; these are real websites, with real traffic, and high authority.

PBN Backlinks

An alternative to “white hat” backlinks is being on an established private blog network that is, truly, private. We have connections and access to our own PBN that is taken care of, to ensure the quality of the network. While this is more on the “grey hat” side, it is still effective and a great way to advance a link portfolio, so long as it is done correctly. Most often, PBNs will charge a month-to-month rental fee for links, and therefore it can get expensive when considering the total life of the campaign. We will discuss this opportunities should they be of interest.

Cost of Backlinks

There are two types of costs associated with backlinks. The first cost is the time it takes for us to acquire and seal the deal. Every campaign is different, every client is different, and every website is different. We cultivate backlinks across multiple industries and niches, and this requires time and attention. We treat each backlink with value, and that is what sets us apart from our competitors who just outsource your campaign to backlink farms across the ocean. These get your website penalized and are incredibly hard and expensive to recover from.

The second cost is content creation. Depending on the deal, we will either provide the content, or the webmaster will provide the content. This includes the cost of the link and are usually one-time costs. Backlink costs vary depending on site and authority, and range anywhere from $100 to $7,000 per link.

Most agencies will have a client pay for a backlink budget. The median budget is around $2,000 per month. That doesn’t mean the agency is getting you $2,000 worth of backlinks. Some may only invest 50% or even just 25% of that budget in to backlinks, and will keep the rest to pay for their own service and cover taxes.

Google Analytics & Webmaster Tools

We set up all of our clients with Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools, which are free services provided by Google to manage your website’s performance and organic rankings. These tools provide invaluable insight in understanding how users treat your website by providing metrics such as search results, impressions, clicks, bounce rate, pages visited, time spent on page, and so much more.

  • Integrate Analytics and Webmaser Tools on the website.
  • Set up conversion tracking for actionable items such as phone calls, contact form submissions, and product purchases.
  • Submit index requests via Webmaster Tools
  • Troubleshoot any ranking issues via Webmaster Tools
